Dinky 918 Guy Van 'Ever Ready'. Excellent plus/boxed. From a private collection of Dinky and Corgi models, mostly purchased during the early 1980's at U.K. auction houses.
Notes
An essential item in your Dinky commercial collection, this Guy van was made during Dinky’s heyday and is part of the sought-after range of advertising vans made during the mid-late 1950’s.
In all original condition throughout, this ‘Ever Ready’ model has a shining mid-blue paint finish and close to perfect detailed transfers on both sides. Perfect lettering above the cab.
Upon careful scrutiny of the van, there are a few little nicks to the side transfers and the occasional little mark or light scratch to the original paint finish. Shiny baseplate and metal parts. Rear doors open and close well.
The box is complete and strongly-coloured with no splits.
Occasional little scuff/light rubbing. Some shelf rubbing to the underside of the box base. Fading to the lower portion of the box base not covered by the lid.
