Notes
A scarce 1st type model finished in the distinctive French blue & red with a red flash. A superb and all-original example, gleaming bright with fine original silver detailing at the radiator, headlights and bumper. Glossy vibrant colours and bright metal parts.
Hard to find this good!
Couple of minor marks on the roof (raised casting dots and a very faint, tiny scratch).
None of the usual marks at wheel arches or on the edges of the red back, so presents very well indeed.
The early buff box looks splendid too with strong colours on the bright, clean and complete paper label. Shopkeeper’s neatly penned price of 10/- at one end as well as a Dinky factory stamp ‘B’ to denote the colour of the model. Card is sturdy and undamaged. Some rusting at the staples and faintly visible pencilled writing on one side of the lid.
