Notes
French Dinky military models always impress – and surely the Brockway Bridge Layer Truck is the best of the lot!
Issued during 1961, this 1:55 scale vehicle is in unused condition with a fresh matt military green finish throughout.
Hard to find a mark; this model has been largely downgraded from mint since it has a little rusting to some of the metal components, although the axles, including the ends, are shiny!
Couple of negligible marks may be seen if you really want to find them. You can generally find a mark if you look long enough!
It is complete with all of the components to construct the bridge as well as the two ‘floats’.
Also present is the original leaflet – one side of which gives instructions for constructing the pontoon bridge in French and on the reverse is the colourful river scene. Pristine!
This item comes with an extremely scarce additional leaflet for a related accessory item, namely French Dinky 834 Mobile Bridge Pack which was an accessory pack for the components of this model (i.e. this pack would contain a replacement 6 part Bridge and the inflatable boats).
The distinctive striped Supertoys box is clean and extremely vivid, with none of the usual fading to the colours. Small corner crush to the lid.
Inside, you will find the card packing tray in which the model sits.
No splits or graffiti. Meccano Controle stamp on the inside of the lid (Quality Control stamp). Very minor wear only to the box.
An impressive military display piece.
