A rare combination – this Mercedes Racing car has a matt white finish, red plastic wheels, blue metal driver and racing numbers (36) on circular paper labels.
Matt baseplate.
Hard to find a mark.
Closest scrutiny reveals a couple of tiny dots of discolouration on one side of the radiator and another at a rear edge.
A lovely unused example with a silky matt finish.
The correct late picture box in paler yellow is in close to shop-fresh condition. Just a couple of little stains at the tuck-in part of one large end flap. Period penned price at an end flap.
