C1147
Corgi 1147 Scammell Truck "Ferrymasters". Very near mint/boxed.
Notes
Made between 1969-72, this truck is in very close to mint, all original condition. Bright deep yellow, black and white finish with two detachable plastic yellow canopies with perfect ‘FERRYMASTERS THE INTERNATIONAL HAULIERS’ on both sides. Complete ‘FERRYMASTERS’ label above the cab. Cast wheels. Two pairs of jewelled lights. Spare wheel.
Hard to find a mark to the paint finish. One of the yellow plastic canopies has a small crack.
The box is complete with all end flaps and has a vivid colourful scene on the reverse of the box. The white card inner is intact and there is the full complement of polystyrene packing pieces included too (one which runs along the base for support and two small sections between the card inner tray and the end flaps). Original cellophane is unruffled and notably intact. Instructions on how to decouple the cab are on the base of the box. Period shopkeeper’s pencilled price. No tears to the bright clean card either.
